Besides my own big tank I have a small 80 x 30 x30 tank for my kids. In it they keep guppy's but they give me a big headache ; the females are constantly dying. they don't appear having anything wrong with them and none of the dead ones looked as if they were about to give birth. The males are ever so happy and don't have any problems. We allso keep a few other species of live-baring in the same tank and they are swimming happy and breeding good.

Anyone recognize the problem and maybe has a solution for me and my kids ?

other males of the other livebearers may be breeding with and killing them
also you may not have enough females
a 2 female to each male ratio works well for me
hard to say without seeing the tank but theres 2 possibilitys that sitting
down anmd watching the tank could help prove/disprove
