The Snake Skin male guppy I got from a Pet Store, They just got them
in so i was the 1st to Pick what I wanted........ I'm curious will
Fancy male guppys breed with Small feeder Guppys? Feeder Guppys seem so
small.

I'm new to Guppys, I just set up my 10 gallon Tank, added the Aqarium
salt needed to the water & have a Secondnature Whisper power Filter, the
Filter is the Regulat Flat maybe 4"x 6" slide in Charcol Filter..... I
bought the Pump & everything from a 2nd hand store for like $5.00, Only
thing bad on it was the Seal & I fixed it with White Pipe Tape. The seal
where the motor mounts to the unit, seal was bad water would leak when I
1st bought it, Fixed it cheap!!

I added fake plants, looks really nice, I bought all green Plants
for a natural look & added a little Rock Bridge That they cam swin
under. I also Bought the Sucktion cup aqaurium Plants too.....The
Plastic type that Stick to the back of the Aquarium so the fish can swim
through & hide in if they want.....& also Hides the electrical cords,
can't see them through the Glass that way. I have 6- females & 2-males
The females are a mix of feeder Guppys & Fancy & the 2-males are Both
Fancy, I'm curious to see What the Babies will look like, The colors I
mean.

YMMV... but with out guppies.... they will breed with anything
(guppy-wise that is).

We are down to just fancy guppies (My wife's tank) (well, some cories
for the bottom), and all males. She transfered her females into my
hospital tank with the Sailfin Mollies...... She got tired of all the
babies!

Be aware that you will get lots of babies... those two males will
service the 6 females nicely. My wife finally wanted her own tank
after loving watching my tanks, and she fell in love with the color
and flash of the males. I tried to prepare her, but little did she
know. Her first pregnant female became known as Big Momma... she got
pregnant, and pumped the babies out like a Texas oil well.... for
about 9 months. We then moved her to another tank for a rest.

Good luck, and I hope you are prepared!
