Hi all! The fish tanks arrived fine and have 2 now. I must have gifted the
other away. What I have is a 30G (used to be my plant tank, grew my own for
the big tank off store stock) and a 70gTall.

Both proofed out fine for holding steady. As both have been stored 6.5
years, consider them the same as a new store bought tank for all purposes.
They will have to wait a month to be started off as our only tank stand
(70G) is being used for the TV stand until the rest of our stuff arrives
from Sasebo Japan. The 30G doesnt have a dedicated stand nor do I have
anything now to put it on.

Looking for ideas of a matched community tank for the 70g once it's cycled
properly. Slow addition of fish and not the really expensive ones. Since
the 70G is a tall wide version, it is a mere 12 inches back to front so
bigger fish arent optimal. Instead, it was designed with a large number of
smaller fish, say 4-5 inch max so they can turn around ok. 5g per inch of
fish is suitable loading. Call it 25 fish if they average 3 inches.
Looking at a variation of between 2-5 inchers. Can support a few 6 inchers,
but best not have any 2 inchers in there if so or they get beat up by the
big boys ..

Shopping area is Norfolk Virginia, if any here know the stores there.
