Out Beta 10 gallon tank is starting to get algea in it. Can I put a
plecostomus in the tank to or will that drive the beta fish nutz?

Thx!

A plecostumus will get too large for your 10 gallon aquarium.
An Otto catfish will do a great job and live peacably with your betta.

Here is a moderated forum that specializes in betta:

Get a bristlenose pleco, they only get 4-5" and will keep your tank
spotless.

The pleco gets agressive as it grows and will outgrow your tank in no
time at all. I suggest that you try otocinclis, a small true algae
eater

Why not try an apple snail? I have several and they keep the tank clean.
As long as you feed them other stuff as well. They won't eat your plants
unless they're dead either.
