Last night the highly anticipated Zoo York film ‘State of Mind’ film premiered in Australia at The Astor Theatre in Melbourne. Well it’s 4:21 am and I just got home from The Astor Theatre in Melbourne for the Zoo York ‘State Of Mind’ premiere. The film has been four years in the making and served up some impressive skating from the Zoo York skate team who have been travelling the globe to capture footage in some of the most coveted skating spots around. Zoo York have gone back to basics and delivered a good old fashioned skate movie with a solid soundtrack, heavy on tricks and light on the time lapse montages of sunsets and flocks of birds (as seems to be the recent trend in skate films). Every rider featured in the film skates solid, staying true to the classic Zoo York vibe with Brandon Westage, Matt Miller and Zered Bassett all impressing with their solid style and technique.
