how to grow moss in a vivarium?
Hello! IAM vivarium to make some green tree frogs and I really want live moss growing on the bottom of it. What things knid eg.soil, scales must be in it to grow? and what type of lighting is needed it?

How do I convert a China cabinet into a vivarium for tree frogs?
i dont know the size of the cabnet in mind so i cant give exact dimensions around 1/4 of the side depending on species… i would do the same for the lighting on the top, (using mesh not glass as glass reflects a lot of UV. mesh can be nylon or... then i would coat the interior with several layers of yacht (or boat deck) varnish (most hardware shops carry it). after it dries (at least 24 hours) i would then seal all the cracks and crevices with aquarium silicone sealent, i definately... for ventilation i would cut out at least two holes (one either side) and cover them with fine mesh (using wooden slats as a frame and small skrews). i would use 1or 2 waterproof aquarium striplights with at least one UV bulb. the varnish should cure for at least 2 to 3 weeks (seriously here dont rush it)....
