I'm looking for opinions about Via Aqua pumps. I'm especially interested in
getting the Via Aqua 1300 for very light duty work (ie: minutes of run time
a week as part of a water change system). Does Via Aqua make decent pumps?
Or am I throwing money away by getting one?
Thanks,
Harry

I blew two of them up within three months several years ago when they
were new on the market. Pushed a lot of water in a hurry, but just built
like junk. They didn't destroy anything like many say Rio's do, so that's a
point or 5.
Some say they are currently producing pumps that are not too bad
though. I'd think even the ones I had would have served quite a number of
years worth of water changes so they should serve you well for that. To top
it off they are quite inexpensive.

SNIP
I asked all of the other questions before I finally got some good responses.
But thank you for everyone's input. Via Aqua it is.
