Anybody knows if there is any archive of articles
published over years in "Tropical Fish Hobbyist" magazine?
Or maybe is here a person who has some issues of this
magazine from 1st half of 1990's? I am looking for
one particular article to read/copy/buy or somthing. |

Ok, that's great... I start 'lurking' and you piqueue my interest with
the thought that there is something extra special you want out of the
mag... and THEN you go private with the rest of the message!

Fine, I will feed your curiosity, I am looking for article published in
March 1998 issue titled "Fire Shrimp Breeding" by Boruchowitz, D.E..
I cannot tell you if the article is worth "the extra special" name
since I have not read it yet... At least it has an interesting title
and my local library keeps only current year + 3 so 1998 is gone
BTW - I did not receive any response to my private message to
Rich yet, so if enybody else has March 1998 issue - please chime in. |

Did you check with a librarian to see if they can get the article for you
via inter-library loan?

There was a message posted in one or another of the aquaria newsgroups
a few weeks ago about someone having boxes of these magazines for
sale. I completely re-downloaded everything that my news server has
kept on file but I can't find it. My server only goes back two weeks.
My library, is right next door to where I work, but they only keep the
previous two years of magazines on file and did not even have copies
of Tropical Fish Hobbyist" at all. My next bet would be to go to the
library of congress website and see if they have an electronic copy of
the mag on file. I haven't tried that yet.
Sorry... I scanned several thousand messages in the various aquaria
groups but had no luck finding it, went next door to the library on
lunch break and no luck there, and of course, I could not find his
email address in my notes.
Please keep us informed though... sounds like the kind of project I
like to do.
