Top off w/ Kalk Water & Ca Reactor

I'm thinking that I should finally automate this task, but I'm worried
that the top off system would just dump a bunch of kalk in the system
and upset the PH.

I've heard things like Kalk stirrer, Ca Reactor, and Ph controller with
CO2, but I'm ignorant on how to put the whole system together to keep it
stable enough so I can sneak away on long weekends without worrying
about my fish, corals, etc being in mortal peril.

I can google, but I'd thought I'd start here. Any good books, articles,
etc?

For lime water, I prefer to use a gang valve. That
way, the wort case senerio is that it will clog and
slow down, or slow down completely.
