How does a portable fish finder work?
I'm taking a trip to Ontario in August for Pike and walleye and will be renting the field, 12-foot aluminum boat instead of taking mine.
Usually you will get a screen to it and will have one power cable and a cable sonar, which hangs on the edge of the boat. I like to attach it somehow so that it is not damaged during the move. They do bounce sonar to the bottom and back up.
