He received his coat back and seems healthy. It is high dollar food. I think this is good thinking?
have better dog foods out there, but Natural Balance is wrong choice ...
rate it 3-4 stars, depending on the formula ...
but if your dog is doing well and is healthy then its the right choice for your dog.

Gifts for pets on the rise
19.05.12
More than two-thirds of pets will receive a toy as a gift and about 45 percent will receive food or another treat, according to the poll. Sixty-two percent of U. S. households have a pet, according to a national pet owners survey from the American Pet Products Association. Just over half of American pet owners will buy gifts for their pets this holiday season and they will spend an average of $46 on their animals, with toys and treats topping the list, according to an AP-Petside. "They are not just things in the backyard, they're family members," said Jim Vanderpool, manager of Petco in Wilkes-Barre Twp. And manufacturers and retailers haven't missed that growing trend, or that those pets have become members of the gift-giving ritual. Spending on pets has grown more than 80 percent in a decade to a 2011 annual estimate of $50. More people are buying gifts for Fido and Fluffy when holiday shopping for family and friends.
