Penguin 330 Help, dead

Try cleaning out the impeller area...I like to take a brush to mine every
once in awhile. It may just be that sediment got in there and is gumming it
up...
If it really burnt out..you'll have to replace the 'motor' at the least.
It's a wire coil and if it burnt out it can't easily be fixed.

I have a marineland penguin 330 and power went off at the house, box
emptied overnight, power came back on, and it burned out the motor.
What do I need to buy, I know I can get a impeller at the store, or
does the whole thing need to be replaced?

If it's the "motor" you will need to buy a new filter. The Penguin filters
have the motor built in and not replaceable.

Well I guess its more theres debis jammed up in there I can hear the
motor now but the inpeller isnt moving and I cant get it out. I got
the white fans moving back and forth a little bit but I cant get it
out for anything to clean it out.. and hints?

If all else fails and you /must/ buy a new pump, check out Wal-Mart.
They sell a Regal 30-60 Gal filter which is identical to a Penguin 330,
except for the lack of Bio-Wheels (and of course you can use your old
ones).
