THIS WAS MY 4TH LETTER TO PETSOLUTIONS, WITH NO REPLY.....

BEWARE OF THIS LIVESTOCK PROVIDER. I'VE MAINTAINED BOTH SALT AND
FRESHWATER TANKS FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND DO ALL OF MY LIVESTOCK
PURCHASES ON LINE. I HAVE DONE BUSINESS WITH 2 SITES/SALTWATER
PROVIDERS FOR OVER 15 YEARS,, BUT WAS LOOKING TO FIND A SITE WITH MORE
VARIETY FOR MY FRESH WATER PROVIDER...........

........PETSOLUTIONS WILL "NOT" BE THAT PROVIDER,,, NOR WOULD I "EVER"
RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. BEWARE OF THIER FISH ON "SALE",,, THE
ONE'S THEY SENT ME WERE COVERED WITH ICH !!

I've attached a picture of the associate's initials who packed my
order. Looks like Ay.
Also attached a picture of the tank the fish went into (post
treatment),, I just complete an 80% water change today (80 gallons,
whew...).

The ich has run it's way through my 100 gal tank. Even with full
treatment it managed to kill quite a few of my resident fish, as well
as those I purchased in the same lot from Petsolutions.

All the Burmese Loaches died. x3
The ich also spread and killed:
30 of the 35 neons I purchased from petsolutions.
1 of the pleco's I purchased from petsolutions.
1 of the chineese algae eaters I purchased from petsolutions.

Resident fish that died:
ALL THREE OF MY CLOWN LOACHES, the 3 amego's, residents of this tank
for over 8 yrs and beautiful... dead.
My single uber-sized neon tetra, 5 yr resident.
My 2 uber-sized black tetra's, 5 yr residents.

What lived from petsolutions:
5 of neons,, although I don't give them much time. Ich treatment
(even 50% dosage) is especially hard on small tetra's from what I've
heard and learned in my 20+ years of maintaining aquariums,,,generally
permanently damaging thier liver and other vital organs.
1 pleco, the sailfin, unhappy but alive and I think will make it fine.
All five rasbora tetra's... amazingly as small as they are, they went
unaffected by the ich or treatment.
2 algae eaters,, appeared unaffected by ich or treatment, even though
1 did not make it.

Resident fish that lived:
My angels,, thank god. x2 blacks.
All 5 of my lemon tetra,, infected and cured.
My uber sized rasbora,, unaffected by ich or treatment.

Total cost of purchase $140
Total cost of resident deaths (very conservative): $24
Total cost of ich treatment: $6
Total: $170 for 13 fish from petsolutions (5 of which probably will
die soon-neons), so $170 for 8 fish,, which would have cost less than
$25 at my local fish store.

I maintain a 75 gal salt aquarium as well as a couple of other fresh
(25 gals) and always source saltwaterfish.com when I purchase coral or
fish. They have earned my lifelong business by providing excellent
product and cost. My question to you is what can I expect from
petsolutions for going through this ordeal and loss. I'm
appreciative of the refund for the burmese loaches... but I'm now left
with an large establish tank that I'd like to fill back up with
quality fish. I feel that if petsolutions wants my business, my next
purchase, and future purchases, then you should at least offer me a
discount for the loss of the additional fish that I purchased through
you only a few weeks ago,, that have now died due to a tank infection
induced by infected fish within the same lot.

Please let me know one way or the other. I'm going to give this tank
another week to settle, and then another 50% water change next
weekend, and then restock the neons, pleco, clown loaches, black neons
and burmese loaches...maybe a few more rasbora and a single male congo
tetra also. If you compensate my loss due to the infected fish you
sold me, then I'll reorder through you and give you the opportunity to
win my permanent fresh water livestock, plant, and hardware business,,
if not, no big deal, I'll try another provider.
