The bio-wheel for my old tank's filter is too small for the new filter on my
new tank and there isn't a place on the new tank to hang the small filter.
Would putting the bio-wheel in a cheese cloth and sinking that in the new
tank keep it "seasoned" in case of an emergency need for my small filter?
The tank is cycled.

Thanks,
E.Otter

somehow hang it right over an air stone... the oxygenated air will keep the bacteria
aerated and fed. I would use some netting of some kind. Ingrid

Why not just use the old filter on the new tank as well? Hard to over
filter. Use it for mechanical and bio filtration
