Parasites will be the most common issue with an Oscar. You should
consider prevention measures so that this does not become a major
problem. Prevention would include regular feedings of de-wormer and
anti-protozoan feeds. Starting with a full week of each, one at a
time....After the initial treatment, one day a month of each would be
sufficient.
Flukes you would need to worry about independently if they become a
problem... They will be in the tank....its just a matter of them
becoming too large in number...
