This is probably out of the question, but is there anyway to make my
oscar more docile? The people at the petshop said that as long as his
tanks mates were his size then he wouldnt pick on them, but the
biggest one in there is the albino oscar and a koi his size. He picks
on the koi and not the gourami, parrots, rhino pleco, or the smaller
koi,

What size is your aquarium, and what are it's inhabitants?

35 gallon with a magnum 350 filter (cycles 350gallons/hour)

1st koi = 4 inches
2nd koi = 3 inches
oscar = 4inches
2 gouramis = 3 inches
Two parrots = about 3 inches
one rhino pleco = about 4 and a half inches.

I know people said that about 1 gallon per inch of fish. So I think
I'm ok for now (until about 3 months down the road which i plan on
building like a 4 gallon pond in the back)

Then the answer is no -- your aquarium is very overcrowded. What you
need to do is get at least a 55 for the single Oscar; move the Oscar
and the Pleco and perhaps the Gouramis to the 55, and leave the rest
in the 35. You can get a 55 gallon setup at WalMart for around $160
(includes filter, hood, etc.) or you can piece together a setup at
PetSmart for about the same price. A well-fed Oscar will attain a
growth rate of about 1/2 inch per month, so it won't be long until
your little tank turns into a bloodbath unless you get larger aquaria!
Sorry about the bad news --

Sounds like you have got more money then brains, What do you think your
fish are gunna do, Line up like Sardines in a tin and all turn left at the
same time to save space..
What happens when one of your fish desides to turn Right,

Instead of spending money on fish, try buying a few decent size tanks
first,, set them up, then obtain a couple of fish..

Have you any idea the amount of waste , fish of this type create
I dread to ask what your using for filtration.

As for a 4 gallon fish pond, I,ve got a bigger Bird Bath..

Some people just never learn

But what would i know, I,m only a bloody dog,, bassett
,
