I bought some A. striatum Lambarene eggs has my first encounter with
killies and received them on a small piece of peat (1" by 2" by 1/8").
The label says there are 26 hard counted eggs, but I seriously can't
find any. When I couldn't find some on the surfaces, I broke down the
peat and started inspecting meticulously with a pair of tweezers.
Anything bigger then a brine shrimp egg, I would have found it.

Since I was close to the hatch date, I've put all the peat in some
water and hoped to at least get a pair of fry. Now 12 hours later, I
still have no luck and I'm starting to wonder if I am to blame
because I didn't look hard enough to seperate the eggs or if there will
never be any fries because there was no eggs in the first place.

Since I've never seen a killies egg before I'd like your advice
before contacting the seller. What is the size of an egg? What do they
look like after 2-3 weeks of growth ? Can you usually find them with
the naked eye (assuming perfect vision or wearing glasses) or do you
need a magnifying glass ? And when they are "eyed-up", is that also
visible without a microscope ? I've seen newly borne Guppy fries, are
killies eggs half that size ?
