Looks nice.

I would have designed the overflow to be a
rectangular area cut out of the upper portion of the
side of the aquarium, so that it would be a true
"overflow", then pace whatever I wanted in there
that could always be modified later.

I like the idea of leaving a big open hole in the
wall, and then just covering it with with a
painting. Now that's practical.

I would have made the inside walls of portland
cement. See

What is the advantage of a concrete tank? More surface for bacteria to grow,
perhaps?

If your talking about the entire tank being
concrete, the answer is cheaper materials.

If you are talking about what I did, then answer is
a more natural look with more space for corals and
stuff to grow.
