At first I thought this skin discoloration had something to do with mating
and possible slime coating as the problem coincided with spawning of the
female but now it has spread to both sides below the fin and now I suspect
Colinari or some sort of bacterial infection. The fish responds normally,
eating normally and courting with the female. I am preparing an isolation
tank, but am unsure what to use as cure medicine other than a broad
spectrum antibiotic. Appreciate any suggestions.
