It looks like a wart...........

Hello fellow lovers of Oscars. I have two albino tigers in a 90 gallon
tank. They've been together since they were about 3 inches long.
(They are now somwhere between 9 and 10 inchs) They have always been
healthy. I have never had any problems with either one. But, the one
I beleive to be the male (I aslo hope they might be a pair, but their
eggs have never hatched), has what looks like a wart on the inside
middle of his lower lip. It is now about the size of a pencil eraser.
It's never seemed to bother him, but now that they are mature, I
wonder if it could be a tumor of some kind that might become
malignant. Anybody seen anything like this before.

When you say "inside middle of his lower lip", do u mean like inside
his mouth or outside his mouth in the groove under his jaw? The
reason i ask is that my oscar is still very small, but as he has grown
from 2" to his current aproximately 4-4.5" he has developed what looks
like a raised white spot in the center of the folds under his jaw. i
have been keeping an eye on it but it doesn't seem to bother him at
all. I might have not noticed it but he is mostly dark brown and a
golden color, he has no white on him, except for this strange spot
which is bright white. i'm interested to hear if anyone else has
something like this.
