what live plants do you place in your fish tank for snails?
it's just every living plant? I mainly of small snails in my tank for my fish eat them. I hear all say they are dozens of small snails in the tank is included and want to get rid of them, but I want them.
Cabomba makes a very good addition, as does an amazon sword. I've stored cabomba with snails for breeding him. They make excellent live food. Plants that have a thickness of links will allow the snails breed safely.

About Unwanted Snails & Algae In Your Freshwater Aquarium, How To Rid Yourself ...
You should also use RO water, instead of tap water and let your plants grow big as live plants are excellent for your tank. Nitrates get into the water through fish waste and uneaten fish food. Phosphates can come through using your tap water or fish food and the only way to really get rid of it is with a phosphate removal filter media. You can feed your fish less or just stand there after feeding them and after 5 to 7 minutes, remove what food was not eaten as well as do more frequent water changes, to try to keep the nitrate level down. There are, however, some things we can do to try and control algae growth as algae needs water, light, nitrates and phosphates to thrive. Do you have an algae problem in your freshwater tank. Though we provide the water and light, we can limit the amount of phosphates and nitrates it gets. Any container of water exposed to light will eventually grow algae. The live plants will also use nitrates. That`s why every aquarist should have a mag-float or some other kind of algae scraper.5 Gallon Tank Stocking Ideas | tropicalfishtanksite.com
Would be good in. I know a lot more about tank size and fish now, and wouldn’t recommend putting almost anything in a one gallon tank. That aside, for those who have small tanks, here is some information on what to have in a five gallon tank. I am advising a tropical fish tank that is heated and has a filtration system. Rest assured, my Betta, Shim Sham, didn’t live in that tank his whole life, either. Bettas are labyrinth fish, and need to be able to gulp water at the surface. He finished out his life in a ten gallon tank all to himself. But don’t worry about that with a 5 gallon tank....
