How can I keep my aquarium cool in the summer?

I have 30 liters tank with Bio-Wheel filters rated at 50 g. I live on the fourth floor in my apartment building and the aquarium sits on the floor. I care for a large Orange Orada and big black Moor.

You can try using ziplocks ice to cool the tank, but it usually leads to ride a roller coaster of temperature that can be worse for fish than the temperature is too high.

How the Aquarium Prepared their Float for the Christmas City of the North Parade

"We have usually five or six people that help with the float, and we are all people who love being in the parade every year," said Mary Pensak, volunteer coordinator at the aquarium. "We've got some six and seven year olds that are going to be giant asian carp and giant goldfish on our float this year because our theme is aquatic invaders," said Pensak. New to aquarium's float this year, was a little invasive surprise. Mary comes up with the design and we are her minions and do whatever she asks," said Carolyn Reisberg, facilities manager at the aquarium. Parts of the float were made ahead of time, but several pieces are reused every year. "We look forward to it every year. "We're kind of the king of recycling here, and we pretty much didn't buy any of this," said Pensak. With a few screws, slabs of wood, greenery and paint, those spending their work day on the float weren't complaining.
